Four days, 270k+ attendees, and a clear signal: healthcare wants solutions that work.
This year marked GlobalView Healthcare’s first time exhibiting at WHX Dubai (9–12 February), and what stood out most wasn’t just the scale (which was truly impressive!) it was the intent.
Conversations weren’t speculative; they were focused, practical, and driven by teams looking for deployable answers to real operational challenges.
Across the week, our team logged a combined ~280,000 steps, met leaders from health systems and health‑tech across the globe, and tested everything from AI support assistants to resuscitation simulators and VR medical training. We even found the most comfortable chair in the world!

From what if to what works
Our discussions at the show moved firmly beyond what ifs. Delegates arrived with real operational pain points and a real desire to find solutions; the kind that impact patient flow, safety, resource allocation, and day‑to‑day workflow efficiencies.
What we heard most often were practical needs: clearer visibility across busy services, fewer friction points as patients move through their journey, and confidence that standards are being met and escalations are handled consistently. The emphasis was on approaches that complement existing ways of working, add clarity rather than complexity, and demonstrate impact quickly and safely.
These conversations were grounded in the reality of running increasingly high‑pressure environments with limited time, stretched teams, and rising demand.
Our conversations centred on:
Creating smoother, more connected workflows across clinical and non‑clinical teams to keep care moving
Responsible transformation, where governance, safety and scalability are built in from day one, through partnered implementation
Adopting technology for a reason, with tools that deliver measurable outcomes and aid data-driven decision-making
Part of the ABHI UK Pavilion: shared challenges and shared ambition
As part of the ABHI UK Pavilion, we built valuable connections with organisations aligned on adoption, interoperability and responsible scaling. Being alongside so many UK innovators reinforced a shared view: the opportunity isn’t just about introducing new technologies, it’s about enabling smarter, more resilient systems ready for the next wave of change. Across the pavilion and beyond, the appetite is clearly for alignment - policymakers, providers and suppliers collaborating to deliver change.
Looking ahead: building for real‑world change
For us, our four‑day visit to Dubai confirmed that the market is moving from vision to real‑world readiness. Our focus now is accelerating work with partners who want to redesign workflows, use technology in a way that truly works for its users, and do so for a reason: delivering outcomes that matter at every stage of the patient journey.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited us, to ABHI for hosting us at the Pavilion, and to WHX Dubai for hosting a truly world‑class show. It was an exceptional experience for our very first year.
